How local search works
When someone searches with local intent, Google usually shows two kinds of results: a map with a few nearby businesses, and a list of websites below it. Local SEO works on both.
- The map results depend mostly on your Google Business Profile, your reviews and how consistently your business details appear around the web.
- The website results depend on your website: its content, its speed, how clearly it explains your services and where you work, and links from other sites.
Doing well in one helps the other. A strong website supports your profile, and an active profile sends people to your website.
Where we focus first
We fix things in the order that usually matters most for a small business:
- Your Business Profile. The right categories, complete details, real photos and a verified profile.
- Your listings. The same name, address and phone number on the main directories, so search engines trust your details.
- Your website basics. Clear titles, a page for each main service, your service area and contact details, and local business schema.
- Your reviews. A simple, rule-following way to ask every customer.
- Content and links. Helpful pages and genuine local mentions that build authority over time.
What we won’t do
Some “local SEO” tricks work for a while and then get businesses penalized. We don’t create fake addresses, add keywords to your business name, buy links or reviews, or publish dozens of near-identical city pages. Everything we do follows Google’s guidelines, so the results last.
